Privacy Statement - Explained in detail what we do with your personal data!

Privacy-sensitive data, i.e. personal data, is processed via our webshop. Crown Blue considers careful handling of personal data of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

In our processing, we comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that:

we clearly state for what purposes we process personal data. We do this via this privacy statement;
we limit our personal data collection to only the personal data necessary for legitimate purposes;
we first ask for your explicit permission to process your personal data in cases where your permission is required;
we take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and also require the same from parties that process personal data on our behalf;
we respect your right to make your data available for inspection, correction or deletion at your request.

Crown Blue is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose. We recommend that you read them carefully.

This privacy statement was last amended on 17-12-20.

When visiting our webshop, placing an order or contacting our customer service. These are just a few examples where we collect data from you. All with a purpose, anyway. But we do think it is good to inform you about this. That is why we have described the moments in which we process personal data in this privacy statement.

Use of our webshop
When you visit our webshop, various data is collected from you. These are not names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers, but the more technical data. Think of your IP Address (anonymised!), cookies and your browser data such as your browser type Chrome, Internet Explorer or FireFox.

Your IP Address and browser data are examples that we use in Google Analytics. With this software we can see how visitors like you use our web store. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google to make agreements about the handling of our data. We also allow Google to view the Analytics information obtained when we ask them for support. And if we have received your permission, Google Analytics will temporarily link the data as described above to your Google Account, so that you will see personalized advertisements through remarketing.

When you visit and use our web store, we therefore obtain certain information from you. And that can be personal data. We only store and use the personal data that are provided directly by you, in the context of the service you have requested, or of which it is clear that they are provided to us for processing.

Cookies
Our web store uses cookies. Cookies are also placed via third parties engaged by us. When you visit our webshop for the first time, a message is shown in which we explain why we use cookies and which cookies you want to accept.

We have made agreements with third parties that place cookies about the use of cookies and applications. However, we do not have full control over what the providers of these applications themselves do with the cookies when they read them. For more information about these applications and how they deal with cookies, please see the privacy statements of these parties (note: these can change regularly).

Place order (without or with account)

If you place an order with us, we need different information from you. These are:

E-mail address
Name
Last name
Delivery and Billing Address
phone number
Payment details
IP address

This information is necessary to receive payment and to ensure that your order arrives at your home. We ask for the e-mail address so that we can send you a confirmation with an overview of your order, as well as the invoice. We mainly use the telephone number to keep you informed, if necessary, of changes to your order. We collect the IP Address in order to exclude fraudsters from visiting our webshop.

If you order from us with an account (you can also create one during the ordering process), we will keep the data for as long as you want to keep your account. After all, the reason you have created an account is probably because you do not always have all the information o

want to fill in again.

Additional information that you will find in your account are:

Your previous orders;
Your address book;
Your wish list;
Your written product reviews.

We will not provide your personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary in the context of the execution of the agreement that you conclude with us or if this is required by law. In case of suspected fraud or abuse of our web shop, we can hand over personal data to the competent authorities.

Contact

If you have any questions, complaints or feedback, you can call, email and chat with us. To help you with this as quickly and effectively as possible, we use various information about you. Initially only your name, e-mail address and/or telephone number. But if you have ordered from us before, we can also see your order history. This is linked to your e-mail address. Saves looking for an order number again!

Apart from the above data, you can also choose which data you share with us. The data you send us will be kept for as long as the nature of the form or the content of your e-mail require for the complete answering and processing thereof.

Subscribe to newsletter

We also send a digital newsletter several times a week. This is not only a general newsletter (the same for everyone), but in many cases also a personal newsletter. To determine the content of this, we ask you about your interests and we use your purchase history.

Do you want to unsubscribe from the newsletter? That is super easy! Open the last newsletter you received and then click on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Are you stuck? Then of course you can also send a message to our customer service, only then it will take a little longer.

When you write a blog comment, the following information is published and is therefore visible to everyone:

Name
The response (which can contain anything)

In the response you choose which information you publish. So it is possible that you can be traced through this. On request, we will of course anonymize the information you have published.

The review (which can contain anything)

In the review you choose which information you publish. So it is possible that you can be traced through this. On request, we will of course anonymize the information you have published.

We also collect your e-mail address if you are logged in and write a review. This way you can always find the reviews you have written in your account. Your email address will not be published.
